KEPUASAN KERJA: HUBUNGANNYA DENGAN PRESTASI KERJA DALAM KALANGAN KAKITANGAN YAYASAN PEMBANGUNAN KELUARGA DARUL TAKZIM (YPKDT), NUSAJAYA, JOHOR BAHRU (JOB SATISFACTION: THE CORRELATION WITH JOB PERFORMANCE AMONG STAFFS IN YPKDT, NUSAJAYA, JOHOR BAHRU)
Abstract
Kajian ini dijalankan untuk mengenal pasti hubungan antara kepuasan kerja dan prestasi kerja dalam kalangan kakitangan yang bekerja di Yayasan Pembangunan Keluarga Darul Takzim (YPKDT) di Nusajaya, Johor Bahru. Sampel terdiri daripada 62 orang kakitangan yang dipilih dengan menggunakan persampelan mudah. Alat kajian yang digunakan adalah Minnessota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ) untuk mengukur kepuasan kerja dan Soal Selidik Penilaian Prestasi Kerja untuk mengukur prestasi kerja pekerja. Data-data yang diperoleh telah dianalisis menggunakan kaedah analisis deskriptif dan inferensi iaitu korelasi melalui Statistical Package Social Science (SPSS) versi 17.0. Keputusan kajian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kepuasan kerja dan prestasi kerja dalam kalangan kakitangan Yayasan Pembangunan Keluarga Darul Takzim (YPKDT) di Nusajaya, Johor Bahru. Kepuasan kerja yang tinggi akan mempengaruhi pekerja untuk mempamerkan prestasi kerja yang baik.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to identify the existence of correlation between job satisfactions with job performance among the staff in Nusajaya, Johor Darul Takzim. The sample consists of 62 staffs that were choosed by using random sampling. The instrument used is Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ) to measure job satisfaction and Work Performance Questionnaire to measure job performance. The data obtained were analysed using descriptive statistic and inferential statistic namely correlation using the 17th versions of Statistical Package Social Science (SPSS). The result of study revealed that there was a correlation between job satisfaction with job performance among the staffs in Yayasan Pembangunan Keluarga Darul Takzim (YPKDT), Nusajaya, Johor Bahru. The higher in job satisfaction will affect staff to show the good performance in works.
