Abstract

The study examines satisfaction for the fisrt introduction programs in Malaysian university know as “starting school” course . There were 3321 respondents among first semester UPM new students were administered survey by questionnaire. Data was obtained regarding likert scale category questionnaire and were administrated using SPSS version 10. The results suggest that the effects of the course vary significantly depending upon the source of university programme, campus life style and will affect job demands, the personality and the psychological symptom manifested. The result allow that the programs have positive reaction by student and should be apply to all university in Malaysia.
