TRANSFORMASI KE ARAH PEMBANGUNAN BANDAR BERTEKNOLOGI HIJAU DI MELAKA (TRANSFORMATION TOWARDS THE DEVELOPMENT OF GREEN TECHNOLOGY CITY IN MALACCA)
Abstract
Inisiatif pembangunan berteraskan teknologi hijau diyakini mampu mentransformasikan pembangunan ke arah dunia yang lebih lestari. Potensi tersebut merangkumi empat perkara yang perlu diberi perhatian iaitu pembangunan dari aspek ekonomi, sosial, budaya dan persekitaran masyarakat. Kajian ini akan cuba untuk mengupas dengan lebih teliti berkaitan dengan elemen Pembangunan berteknologi hijau untuk diaplikasikan oleh semua pihak bagi menjayakan misi dan transformasi pembangunan yang diharapkan masa kini. Pengkaji menggunakan kaedah kualitatif di mana penelitian terhadap dokumentasi bahan-bahan rasmi kerajaan selain pencarian sumber maklumat daripada jurnal artikel, buku dan data dalam talian sebagai rujukan utama. Dapatan kajian telah menunjukkan bahawa seluruh masyarakat mempunyai harapan yang tinggi terhadap keinginan mereka untuk terus maju tetapi dalam masa yang sama peka terhadap isu kelestarian. Kajian ini diharapkan, dapat memberi sumbangan dalam menjelaskan kepentingan ke arah tranformasi pembangunan moden melalui perincian yang tepat serta holistik berteraskan kepada keseimbangan yang diperlukan antara pertumbuhan ekonomi pembangunan sosial dan perlindungan alam sekitar.

Development initiatives based on green technology is believed to be able to transform the development towards a more sustainable world. Potential includes four things that need to be addressed, namely the development of economic, social, cultural and community environments. This study will attempt to analyze more closely related to the development of green technology elements to be applied by all parties for the success of the mission and the expected transformation of the present development. The method in which the qualitative study of documentation materials other than official government sourcing information from journal articles, books and online data as the main reference. The findings have shown that the public has high expectations of their desire to move forward but at the same time sensitive to the issue of sustainability. This study is expected to contribute in explaining the importance of transformation towards modern development through precise detail and holistically based on the necessary balance between economic growth, social development, and environmental protection.
