KEBERKESANAN PELAKSANAAN AKTIVITI FIZIKAL TERHADAP PEMBANGUNAN DIRI PELAJAR: SATU TINJAUAN (THE EFFECTIVENESS OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES IMPLEMENTATION TO STUDENT'S PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT: A REVIEW)
Abstract
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan sama ada Program Latihan Kecergasan Fizikal (PLKF) melalui aktiviti luar dapat membentuk individu menjadi pelajar yang cemerlang. Aktiviti fizikal merupakan suatu amalan yang baik untuk diri dan perlu dijadikan salah satu daripada aktiviti hidup yang berterusan. Dengan senaman atau latihan fizikal yang sistematik lagi teratur, kecergasan fizikal dapat dikekalkan dan dipertingkatkan, seterusnya dapat membantu individu untuk mengurangkan tekanan hidup dalam pengurusan kehidupan seharian. Terdapat empat dimensi faktor digunakan dalam kajian ini iaitu faktor komunikasi, minda, kecergasan dan keyakinan diri terhadap kualiti pelajar. Tingkah laku individu yang sempurna adalah berdasarkan perhubungan antara pergerakan, emosi dan sosial serta inteleknya. Kajian juga bertujuan menentukan sama ada terdapat perbezaan antara jantina merupakan faktor dalam aktiviti fizikal melalui PLKF. Peserta kajian terdiri daripada 104 orang pelajar Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka, iaitu 71 orang pelajar lelaki dan 33 orang pelajar perempuan. Peserta kajian telah menjalani PLKF selama 3 hari. Satu soal selidik telah diedarkan selepas aktiviti PLKF dijalankan. Soal selidik telah dibina dan telah diuji dengan Alfa Cronbach .956. Keputusan kajian menunjukkan bahawa PLKF dapat membantu dalam peningkatan tahap komunikasi, kesihatan, minda dan keyakinan diri di kalangan pelajarpelajar UTeM.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to determine whether the Physical Fitness Training Program (PLKF) through outdoors can be an excellent student. Physical activity is a good practice for self and needs to be one of life's ongoing activities. With a systematic and organized physical exercise or physical exercise, physical fitness can be maintained and enhanced, thereby helping the individual to reduce the stress of life in daily life management. There are four dimensions of factor used in this study, namely communication, mind, fitness, and self-confidence factors towards student quality. Perfect individual behavior is based on the relationship between movement, emotion and social and intellect. The study also aims to determine whether there is a difference between genders as the factor in physical activity through PLKF. The study participants consisted of 104 students of Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka, 71 students and 33 female students. The study participants had undergone PLKF for 3 days. A questionnaire was distributed after PLKF activities were conducted. Questionnaire was built and tested with Alfa Cronbach .956. The results of the study show that PLKF can help to improve the level of communication, health, mind and self-confidence among UTeM students.
