Hubungan Antara Personaliti Dan Persepsi Terhadap Tingkah Laku Kerja Tidak Produktif Dalam Kalangan Pekerja Industri: Kajian Literatur (Relationship between Personalities and Perceptions towards Unproductive Behavior among Industrial Workers: A Literatur
Abstract
Abstrak. Kajian mengenai perlakuan individu adalah penting dalam memahami semua bentuk perlakuan dalam pengurusan dan organisasi. Kepelbagaian tingkah laku bukan sahaja dapat memberi impak kepada individu yang berkenaan malah kepada organisasi dan industri. Pekerja yang meyakini organisasi dapat menghargai sumbangan dan menjaga kebajikan mereka akan membalasnya dengan menunjukkan sikap dan tingkah laku yang positif. Kajian ini secara umumnya untuk melihat hubungan antara personaliti dan persepsi sokongan organisasi terhadap tingkah laku kerja yang tidak produktif (TLKTP) dalam kalangan pekerja industri di Melaka. Sampel kajian terdiri daripada 300 pekerja teknikal di syarikat aeroangkasa. Soal selidik yang diedar mengandungi maklumat peribadi responden dan juga dimensi-dimensi yang dikur seperti, dimensi personaliti pekerja diukur dengan Big Five Inventory. Persepsi pekerja terhadap sokongan organisasi diukur dengan Perceived Organizational Support Scale, dan maklumat tingkah laku organisasi pekerja diukur dengan Counterproductive Work Behavior Checklist. Secara signifikannya kajian ini akan memberi kefahaman dan penjelasan bagaimana aspek personaliti dan persepsi terhadap industri berupaya mempengaruhi tingkah laku pekerja dan bagaimana industri boleh menyediakan platform untuk meningkatkan prestasi dan produktiviti pekerja. Berdasarkan kajian ini akan dapat mengenalpasti dimensi personaliti yang signifikan untuk meningkatkan tingkah laku yang positif, juga dapat menjelaskan apakah persepsi organisasi yang terbaik dalam meningkatkan kadar tingkah laku organisasi yang positif dan menghindarkan tingkah laku organisasi yang negatif.

Abstract. Studies on individual behavior are important in understanding all forms of treatment in management and organization. The diversity of behaviors can not only impact the individual concerned but also the organization and the industry. Employees who believe the organization can appreciate their contribution and keep their welfare repaying them by showing positive attitudes and behaviors. This study is generally to see the relationship between personalities and organizational support perceptions on unproductive behaviors among workers in the industrial setting at Melaka. The sample of the study consists of 300 technical workers in aerospace companies. Distributed questionnaires contain personal information of the respondents as well as dimensions as measured as, employee personality dimensions are measured by Big Five Inventory. Employee perceptions of organizational support measured by Perceived Organizational Support Scale. and employee organizational behavioral information is measured by Counterproductive Work Behavior Checklist. Significantly this study will provide an understanding and clarification on how personality and perceptual aspects of the industry are able to influence the behavior of workers and how the industry can provide a platform to improve the performance and productivity of workers. Based on this study will be able to identify significant dimensions of personality to enhance positive behavior, what is the best organizational perception in improving positive behavioral rate and avoid negative organizational behavior.
