PENYAMPAIAN MAKLUM BALAS PRESTASI DALAM PELAKSANAAN AMALAN MEMBERIKAN MAKLUM BALAS PRESTASI KERJA (Performance Feedback Delivery in the Implementation of Job Performance Feedback)
Abstract
Abstrak: Kajian kualitatif ini mengkaji tentang aspek penyampaian maklum balas prestasi semasa pelaksanaan amalan memberikan maklum balas prestasi kerja berdasarkan perspektif pegawai penilai (PP) dan pegawai yang dinilai (PYD) yang berkhidmat di sekolah menengah (SM). Seramai 12 orang peserta yang dipilih secara persampelan bertujuan telah ditemu bual dengan menggunakan teknik temu bual separa berstruktur. Semua peserta adalah mereka yang terlibat secara langsung dengan pelaksanaan amalan memberikan maklum balas prestasi dan dipercayai dapat memberikan maklumat yang telus serta komprehensif. Data kajian yang telah dianalisis dengan menggunakan kaedah analisis kandungan menunjukkan bahawa kualiti aspek penyampaian maklum balas prestasi semasa memberikan maklum balas prestasi kerja masih perlu ditambah baik. Dapatan kajian ini adalah sangat berguna kepada pengurus pendidikan dan pengamal sumber manusia bagi meningkatkan keberkesanan amalan memberikan maklum balas prestasi dalam organisasi.

Abstract. This qualitative study examines the aspects of performance feedback delivery during the implementation of providing job performance feedback based on the perspective of raters and rates serving in secondary schools. A total of 12 participants selected by purposeful sampling were interviewed using semi-structured interview techniques. All participants are those who are directly involved with the implementation of providing job performance feedback and are believed to be able to provide transparent and comprehensive information. The study data that has been analyzed using content analysis method shows that the quality of the performance feedback delivery aspect while providing job performance feedback still needs to be improved. The findings of this study are very useful to education managers and human resource practitioners to increase the effectiveness of the practice of providing performance feedback in organizations.
